Annual Pilgrimage

Rev. Tiffany Curtis, Pastor of Open Circle Disciples of Christ Church in Santa Fe, led our 2024 pilgrimage. Rev. Curtis has been on several pilgrimages including the Caminos de Santiago and Kumano Kodo and was available to share her wisdom and experience with this year’s hikers.

The 2024 hike was deemed The Pilgrimage to Beauty and was carried out in October 2024 when the aspens were at their peak color in the Santa Fe National Forest, just above the city of Santa Fe. Using prompts for contemplation and sharing with others their reflections were ways Rev. Curtis created the walk to beauty as an opportunity for community, being in nature, and worship.

The skies were the beautiful New Mexico blue and the leaves were gold. Many took part in this lovely opportunity provided by The Journey Project and funded by the Lilly Endowment.
